Literature Circles

In a good discussion it can make us understand the book or topic more. If we made connection it can make a discussion lively and fun. Predictions can help you see what might happen next. These are the keys to a great literature circle discussion.

Discussing our literature circles helped me understand the books much better. It helped me because I could hear other peoples thoughts about the books. Sometimes they are different from yours and other times people can think the same as you. For example in our group people think very differently about the book that we are reading. It is always good to discuss a book with other people to get a better understanding of the book. You can do this even if you are not at school.

When we discuss our literature circles it is better to try and make connections to other peoples work, the book and what people talk about. You can do these by relating your life or your experiences to what you hear or read. It is good to do this because you can get new ideas and much more. It can also make the discussion much more interesting for everyone. Connections can be the fire to a enjoyable discussion. In school and in every day life.

In a group you can make many predictions about are book. Some are very imaginative, others are  obvious. It can be fun to find out what other people think about the book. Like when I thought Jacob was going to stay because of his granddad. When I read on I was proved wrong. It can be great if your prediction prove to be right. We should make predictions so that there is an excitement of finding out if you are wrong or right.

Making a literature circle might not be that fun but sometimes the discussions make it worth while. The fun of making a prediction or a connections is that you can share it with others. Discussions can sometimes make you understand a book more. literature circles are not so bad if you think about it because you get to discuss it in groups.
